iPhone cybersecurity has been made irrelevant

Remember the infamous encryption scandal between Apple and the FBI for unlocking an iPhone belonging to a terrorist behind the San Bernardino mass shooting that took place two years ago?
After Apple refused to help the feds access data on the locked iPhone, the FBI eventually paid over a million dollar to a third-party company for unlocking the shooter’s iPhone 5c.

There is excellent news for the FBI. It appears that the federal agency will not have to go through another scandal with Apple over unlocking iPhones because an Israeli mobile forensics company named Cellebrite has developed a new way to unlock almost any iPhone in the market, including the latest iPhone X.
Cellebrite is a significant security contractor to the United States law enforcement agencies, now can unlock every iPhone running iOS 11 and older versions. And not only iPhones, but any other iDevice can also be unlocked: iPad, iPad mini, iPad Pro and iPod touch, running iOS 5 to iOS 11.

Cellebrite is specialized in everything not only Apple’s devices, but they can also break into Google Android-powered smartphones like Samsung: Galaxy and Note series, Alcatel, Google Nexus, HTC, Huawei, LG, Motorola, ZTE and many more.
Cellebrite Advanced Unlocking Services can determine or disable the PIN, pattern, password screen locks or passcodes on the latest Apple iOS and Google Android devices.

Meaning that exploits for every primary mobile device and mobile software exist and are very real, in this case, is right that a company have them and not the cybercriminals that would certainly use them to cause significant cybersecurity problems. This is why every device must be protected by a secure cybersecurity solution like an antivirus.
Cellebrite was founded in 1999, and since then it provides digital forensics tools and software for mobile phones.
The Cellebrite’s iPhone hacking tool has the potential to affect hundreds of millions of Apple users. Remember that Apple also rolls out software updates and patches on a regular basis.

Users are advised to keep their devices up-to-date, for now as its hard to say if the company’s hacks.
Every user and company should pay more attention to cybersecurity because no system or device is unbreakable, sooner or later a skilled cybercriminal or a company that offers reliable cybersecurity services will breach, using ethical hacking any equipment or software on the market. That is why the presence of a top cybersecurity solution like antivirus is a must for every device that is connected to the internet.
